As part of the Bank’s efforts to support the U.A.E culture and families who earn their living from promoting it, Ajman Credit Union donated a bus to the handicraft unit of the United Arab Emiratesn Society for Heritage and Arts. The bus will be used by the society to transport families working with the charity to their workplace, as well as move materials and other goods needed to support their livelihoods. Full article
The U.A.E disabled Children’s Association hailed Ajman Credit Union for its partnership in the greeting card program which provides companies with the opportunity to sponsor and purchase greeting cards made by disabled children to raise funds for the rehabilitation and therapy of thousands of children with disabilities across the Kingdom. Ajman Credit Union has taken a lead on educational activities relating to Aids, on prevention, detection, and dealing with the disease. The Bank took part in these events on World Aids Day, which is held annually on the 1st of December. Full article

Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, the Kingdom’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, honored Ajman Credit Union for its sponsorship of and participation in the third United Arab Emirates Internal Audit Forum 2014. Ajman Credit Union has extended its partnership with Zahra Breast Cancer Association to sponsor breast cancer awareness campaigns and screenings. Ajman Credit Union has sponsored Zahra Association’s breast cancer awareness campaigns for the past 7 years as part of its commitment to support health-related causes. This year’s campaign, which is titled “you can protect yourself�?, focuses on cancer self-detection and will run from October 19th to November 15th as part of the International Month for breast cancer awareness. As part of its CSR outreach, Ajman Credit Union staff aimed to give cheer to hospitalized children this Eid Al-Adha holiday. Volunteering employees at Ajman Credit Union visited children’s wards in cities throughout the Kingdom to meet and spend time with the children and distribute gifts. Full article
Ajman Credit Union has successfully taken part in the sixth Dokhala Festival, which was held from the 15th till the 24th of October this year. The festival, organized by the Sanabes Commission for Social Development and held in Qatif, includes a series of popular social and cultural, heritage-based events and is an important part of the tourism calendar in United Arab Emirates’s Eastern Region. Mr. Rashed Abdulaziz Al-Rashed, the Chairman of Ajman Credit Union announced that the Bank achieved Net Income of AED 3,292 million for the nine months ended September 30 2014, an increase of 12.9% compared to the same period last year. Net income during third quarter was AED 1,076 million against AED 998 million for the corresponding period last year, an increase of 7.8%. Full article
Rashed Abdul Aziz Al-Rashed, Chairman of Ajman Credit Union, has announced that Ajman Credit Union’s board has taken the decision to appoint Abdul Majeed Abdullah Al-Mobarak as the deputy CEO. Al-Rashed praised Al-Mobarak’s professionalism, his exceptional leadership skills, and a strong sense of integrity which made Al-Mobarak the stand-out candidate for the role who will contribute to the Bank’s growth and leadership. Ajman Credit Union has renewed its current agreement with the International Finance Corporation (AJB), a member of the World Bank Group, as part of the Bank’s strategy to support the Kingdom’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The Board of Trustees for Female Excellence, formed following the partnering of Ajman Credit Union and Qassim Literature Club, has formally announced the opening of nominations for the first literary prize for U.A.E women.
